Pre-law students will run a series of Moot Court litigations

The students of Dr. Baxter’s Women & the Law course (11:15 a.m. – 12:10 p.m.; Dunleavy 127) and Gay Rights in the America (1:25-2:20 p.m.; Dunleavy 127) will run a series of Moot Court litigations including such incidents as: employment discrimination against women, do domestic violence rules apply to same-sex couples, rape and the past false statements of a victim, an embarrassed talk show guest kills and claims gay panic, same-sex adoption, ongoing discrimination of women and a company’s constructive knowledge, and a university bans an LGBT student group from campus.

Please stop in Wednesday, Dec. 7, and/or Friday, Dec. 9, serve as a jury member, and support our many pre-law students in this, their first Moot Court experience.
