Project Atata

In Announcements, by , on January 26th, 2017

The Niagara University Pre-Law Student Association and the Niagara University Model UN are pleased to announce a semester-long community service project, which really shows the reach of The Power of Niagara.

Project Atata is a campus-wide endeavor that collects school supplies for a small, one-room schoolhouse in faraway Atata Island in the Kingdom of Tonga.

The schoolhouse needs all of the school supplies a first grade through sixth grade student may need: pencils, pens, notebooks, compasses, protractors, remedial English and math books, string-drawn book bags, etc.

Red collection boxes have been set up throughout the classroom buildings and Timon Hall.  For those of you who would like to donate to defray shipping costs and help pay for tablets, the organizations above have set up a GoFundMe site at  https://www.gofundme.com/project-atata and donations of all amounts are much appreciated.

Change one classroom and help change the world!
