Purple Eagles baseball first pitch dinner: Jan. 23

The Niagara University Department of Athletics will hold the inaugural Purple Eagles Baseball First Pitch Dinner on Jan. 23 at the Como Restaurant in Niagara Falls, N.Y. Anyone interested in supporting the baseball program is encouraged to attend.

The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a one-hour, open bar reception. A three-course plated dinner and the night’s programming will begin at 6 p.m. The program will include an introduction of the 2016 Purple Eagles baseball team by head coach Rob McCoy, a special presentation by baseball student athletes Taylor Hackett and Geoff Seto and a silent basket raffle.

Attendance is $50 per plate or $450 for a Purple Table. A Purple Table accommodates eight guests and two members of the 2016 baseball team. Those who purchase a Purple Table will also be mentioned in the sponsorship program. If you are unable to attend, but would like to support the baseball student-athlete experience, please contact Stephen Butler at sbutler@niagara.edu or ext. 8602. For dinner, guests will have a choice between chicken parmesan and sirloin steak; please include your selection in your RSVP.
