Randy Szukala joins the campus safety department

Randy Szukala has been hired as the assistant director for campus safety. Randy will begin work on Wednesday, June 10, 2015. In his position, he will be responsible for leadership and supervision of the shift supervisors as well as oversight of the daily operations of the department. He will also be instrumental in training, campus events, and event planning. 

Randy comes to the university with tremendous experience. Throughout his 20+ year law enforcement career he has worked as a police officer in Middleport, NY, and the City of North Tonawanda. The majority of the years were spent with the City of North Tonawanda PD where he was promoted through the ranks and retired after serving as Chief of Police for 10 years.  

Randy’s typical work hours will be between 3 p.m. and 11 p.m., and he can be reached at ext. 8221.
