Read Banned Books!
Join the Vincentian Center for Justice as we explore the history of banned books and discuss why it is so important to participate in a movement to oppose book banning by reading them, sharing them, writing letters to authors whose books have been banned, supporting libraries, and joining reading groups.
Alumna Ellen Rajnisz from Burning Books of Buffalo will present on the history of banned books and lead a workshop to facilitate the creation of banned book reading groups, Thursday, Feb. 8, in Bailo Hall Room 201 from 4:30 – 6 p.m. Refreshments served! Co-sponsored by the English department, the NU library, and the ICAB.
