Recent Niagara University Grad Honored By American Nurses Association – New York

Annabel Kaiser, a recent Niagara University graduate, has been named to the 2016 cohort of Future Nurse Leaders by the American Nurses Association – New York (ANA-NY).

Kaiser, a resident of Lancaster, N.Y., was one of only 28 recipients. She is currently working as a registered nurse at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

Launched in 2014 to recognize the high quality of students graduating from nursing schools in New York and foster engagement and ongoing professional development, the award is given to graduating students in honor of their scholarship, professional dedication and commitment to community service.

Each Future Nurse Leader receives a certificate of recognition; a copy of the new book, Nightingale’s Legacy: The Evolution of American Nurse Leaders by Sue Johnson, Ph.D., RN, NE-BC; and complimentary membership in the American Nurses Association and ANA-NY for one year.
