Revised Whistleblowing and Conflict of Interest Policies at Policies.niagara.edu

In Announcements, by , on October 15th, 2014

The Whistleblowing Policy and Procedure enables in-person or anonymous reporting of suspected theft or abuse of university resources; for example, if you suspect a person is taking university property, you can report it through this procedure.  The Conflict of Interest Policy ensures that decisions are made based only on the best interests of the university; for example, if a person is working on a hiring process, and their spouse is an applicant, the Conflict of Interest Procedure would recuse them from the process.   The full text of these newly revised policies can be seen at policies.niagara.edu under “What’s New.”  Please call the General Counsel with any questions, or to request a training on these topics.
