SALT Engagement Meeting: June 8
Niagara University has partnered with American Student Assistance to provide a new service to our students and recent alumni called SALT. Our campus is setting itself apart from the norm by taking on a leadership role in higher education and providing a program to our students to help them become financially literate during college and beyond. Students are rewarded for making smart financial choices – and in the process our institution can boost retention rates, increase student loyalty, and even promote alumni giving. It is a win-win situation for all involved.
With SALT’s unique approach, our students and alumni can:
- Boost their financial smarts with interactive lessons;• Find scholarships they’re eligible for, so they pay less for school;• Talk with expert counselors for personal student loan help. Based on your expertise and position on campus, you are invited to our SALT Engagement Meeting. The purpose of this meeting is to harness ideas and engagement strategies that will work best for our students and alumni as we continue our engagement efforts across campus. Members from our SALT team at American Student Assistance will be on campus on June 8 at 1 p.m. in the Gallagher Center multi-purpose room, to help us create our campus engagement plan. You can play an essential role in making the implementation of SALT successful. I hope that you will accept the invitation to attend. If you have any questions prior to the meeting, please feel free contact either Katie Kocsis or Martie Howell
