A Salvador Dali art exhibition owned by Niagara University’s Castellani Art Museum is on its way to Finland.

Les Diners de Gala by Salvador Dalipublished in 1973 as a collaboration between Dali and a “secret chef,” will be on display June 16-Nov. 21, 2018, at Serlachius Museums in Mänttä-Vilppula, Finland.

This portfolio of 12 lithographs, complete with a distinctive engraving in the lower margin of each work titled Spoon with Crutches, is a Surrealist twist on some of Dali’s favorite meals. The lithographs are the product of Dali’s experimentation with mixed media and regarded by many as some of his most unique prints.
