Save the Date: “2 Good 2 Toss” – May 21-22, 2015
For the third year, employees who participated in the Vincentian Mission Certificate Program are organizing “2 Good 2 Toss.” The goal of “2 Good 2 Toss” is to keep usable items out of landfills. Before leaving campus, students will be invited to donate usable goods in good condition that they no longer want. Employees can also donate items at the Kiernan Center, Scaffidi gym, on Monday, May 18, or Tuesday, May 19, between 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. (Please note: food, pillows, and mattresses cannot be accepted.) The garage sale, which will be open to all employees and to the public, will be held Thursday, May 21, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., and Friday, May 22, from 9 a.m. until noon, in the Kiernan Center, Scaffidi gym. A hot dog sale will also be held on Friday, May 22, from 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. The pre-sale for employees will be Wednesday, May 20, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. All proceeds will be donated to the Campus Ministry / St. Vincent de Paul Society. Unsold items in good condition will be donated to the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.
