Self-Care Workshop

In Announcements, by , on April 12th, 2021

Please join us tomorrow, April 13th, at 2:30pm and put a little self-care in your day! To correspond with our designated self-care day on our academic calendar, the Mental Health Literacy Committee has coordinated a virtual self-care workshop, open to all faculty and staff.

Self-care is very important for our mental health, and in order to be our best selves, we must take care of ourselves. Self-care means really listening to your body, taking moments to check in, tuning in to your thoughts, and changing your behaviors and belief systems when needed.  This hour training, facilitated by BestSelf Behavioral Health, will go over the basics of self-care and a 3-step approach to creating a self-care routine.  We will also discuss common barriers and brainstorm how to overcome them.

In addition to tomorrow’s offering, this workshop will be offered again in May during Mental Health Awareness month.  Spaces are limited, so please register today!  Please use the buttons below to register for one of the session offerings.
