Commencement 2024: Attention all colleges, departments, programs, student clubs, and organizations!
Celebrate our graduates and show support by working at one or all graduation ceremonies.
*Non-exempt employees will be paid their normal hourly rate through the
commencement budget. A separate timesheet will be provided for you to complete.
Students, please consider volunteering!
There are still many responsibilities that need to be filled, so please take a moment to review the dates and times below, and select any or all graduation ceremonies that you are available to work at Artpark in Lewiston, N.Y.
Responsibilities:
● Help backstage.
● Courtyard to greet and direct students and their guests.
● Distribute programs to the guests as they enter the Main Stage Theater.
● Assist with directing guests into the theater before the doors close.
● Other responsibilities may include light cleanup backstage at the end of each ceremony.
Dates/Times Needed for Staffing:
Thursday, May 9
Graduate/Ph.D. Commencement Exercise
Hours: 6–9 p.m.
The ceremony starts at 7:30 p.m.
*Dinner will be provided beginning at 4 p.m. on campus
Saturday, May 11
Undergraduate Commencement Exercises
AM Ceremony:
Business Administration, Education, Hospitality, Sport and Tourism Management
Hours: 8 a.m. – noon.
The ceremony starts at 9:45 a.m.
*Lunch provided at Artpark beginning at noon
PM Ceremony:
Arts and Sciences, and Nursing
Hours: 1:30 – 5:30 p.m.
The ceremony starts at 2:45 p.m.
*Lunch provided at Artpark at noon
