Students participated in call with Pulitzer Prize Winner, Bret Stephens
On Tuesday, Feb. 24, the students in Dr. John Stranges’ course in American Foreign Policy After the Cold War were treated to a 50-minute conference call with Pulitzer Prize Winner, Bret Stephens, the foreign affairs columnist and deputy editorial page editor of The Wall Street Journal. Stephens’ recent book, America In Retreat, is one of the readings for the course.
“It was a great experience for the class,” said Dr. Stranges. “They had a chance to question the author about some of the things that troubled them, and to exchange views. And Bret Stephens likes to be challenged.”
