Sue Karaszewski Named Outstanding Employee Of The Quarter
Congratulations to Sue Karaszewski, graphic designer in our Office of Public Relations, Marketing and Communications, on being named NU’s Outstanding Employee of the Quarter. Sue was presented with the award yesterday afternoon by Father James J. Maher, C.M., Niagara president.
Sue joined Niagara in September 2004.
A quote from Sue’s supervisor stated, “I cannot say enough about Sue’s commitment to her work. As a highly talented design professional, not only is Sue’s work well-designed but she works nights or weekends to make sure that we meet a deadline.”
Comments from another nomination stated, “I have had the pleasure to work with Sue this past year on numerous events. No matter the timeline, Sue ALWAYS comes through for me. The President’s Dinner invitation is a huge project, and I truly appreciate her expertise and dedication.”
Sue has been the recipient of several Purple Pats that describe her ongoing commitment to the university community. One of the “pats” thanked her by saying, “You always go beyond our expectations and make everything look collegiate and professional.”
Another Purple Pat thanked Sue, not only for her work but for her inspiration, “Thank you for doing such a great job so willingly and always with a smile! You are an inspiration to all those around you!”
Another quote from Sue’s supervisor complimented her commitment to her work, “Whether she is creating magazines, posters, brochures, invitations, or other imagery, Sue’s work always puts Niagara University in the best light possible, showcasing Western New York’s premier institution of higher education.”
One nomination shows how Sue’s commitment extends beyond her department, “Sue’s job is helping other departments reach their goals and she does a great job doing it. For a job that is designated to help others, I realize that Sue has a direct impact on my success as well.”
Nominations for the Outstanding Employee Award are made by NU employees, students, alumni, parents, or other persons who come in contact with NU employees. Honorees are eligible to receive gift certificates to area amenities, movie passes, two days off during the next quarter, NU athletics tickets and a universal parking tag that can be used in any non-handicapped parking spot on campus.
We are pleased to recognize Sue for her continued commitment to Niagara University and all of the departments she helps. Please join us in congratulating her as the Outstanding Employee of the Quarter!
