Support our Student Veterans: Stop by LLGC Everyday this Week
The Niagara University student veterans will have a table set up in the lower level Gallagher Center from Nov. 11 – 15. This is your chance to come out and meet some of our veterans here on campus. Each day a different branch of the military service will be recognized. Each branch is responsible for the display. The focus is to help students, faculty and staff understand what it meant for these men and women to serve our nation. Please take the time each day to stop by and listen to what they have done for each of us and thank them for their service. I especially encourage all NU employees who served in the military to support your branch on the respective days as well by stopping by. See the schedule below.
Navy – Nov. 11, 2013
Coast Guard – Nov. 12, 2013. Yes, we have a Veteran of the Coast Guard who will be supported by two local Coast Guard members.
Air Force – Nov. 13, 2013
Marines – Nov. 14, 2013. This month is their birthday also. Stop by and wish the Marines at the table a happy birthday.
Army – Nov. 15, 2013. NU plays West Point’s hockey team on Friday, Nov. 15. Invite any veterans you may know to come out to the game.
