Susan Goodier And Karen Pastorello To Speak On Campus About The New York State Women’s Suffrage Movement – “The Very Greatest Victory”

Scholars Susan Goodier and Karen Pastorello will speak on the Niagara University campus about their latest research that culminated in their book, Women Will Vote: Winning Suffrage in New York State, on Friday, April 20, 2018, from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in St. Vincent’s Hall, rooms 405 and 406. Goodier is a public scholar for Humanities NY, teaches at SUNY Oneonta, and is also serving as an editor for the New York History journal. Pastorello examines women’s labor history, is a professor of history, and heads the Women’s Studies Department at Tompkins Cortland Community College. The talk is free and open to the public.
