Sustainability Committee Meeting Open to All: TODAY
At NU, we need everyone to act on our commitment to environmental responsibility, therefore meetings of the Sustainability Committee are open to all. Meetings this semester will be held bi-weekly in the CASTL space in St. Vincent’s Hall every other Wednesday from 12:20 to 1:15 p.m. Join us for one meeting, some, or all as we move forward on items such as: the President’s Climate Commitment (including reducing NU’s greenhouse emissions, committing to LEED construction, and composting), and culture change around issues from turning off the lights to developing a bike-friendly community. This month we will also be putting the “Sustainability Calendar” on Ad Astra, so NU’s commitment to green practices can be considered as we plan events. See you on the 29th.
