In Announcements, by , on April 6th, 2016

Niagara University faculty, staff and students will hold an event April 7 in conjunction with the Take Back the Night national movement, which aims to end sexual, relationship, and domestic violence in all forms.

Co-sponsored by the YWCA of the Niagara Frontier, the event begins at 7 p.m. in the upper level Gallagher Center with a prayer and blessing. It continues with a performance by the Brazen-Faced Varlets theatrical group and a student-organized march around campus. The evening concludes with a candle light vigil, coordinated by NU’s Office of Campus Ministry.

Resource tables will be set up outside of the museum entrance for university departments and clubs, and local community agencies that work to end domestic violence.

More than 100 attendees are expected.
