Tammy Bruno Earns Outstanding Employee Award at Niagara University

In Announcements, by , on October 23rd, 2017

Congratulations to Tammy Bruno, assistant dean for retention, student support and graduate programs in Niagara University’s College of Education, on being presented with NU’s Outstanding Employee Award on Oct. 20 by the Rev. James J. Maher, C.M., president.

Bruno, a Niagara Falls resident, began working at Niagara in September 2007.

“In the course of one year, Tammy has taken on two distinct roles in the College of Education,” noted Dr. Chandra Foote, dean of the College of Education. “She is responsible for coordinating our efforts to meet graduate enrollment targets. This year, we had a 10 percent increase in our graduate recruitment goal and we started the semester at 96 percent enrollment related to this target. Considering the (comparatively low) results being achieved by our public and private competitors, this is an incredible accomplishment.”
