In honor of Black History Month, the Middle Eastern and Islamic Film series is featuring Malcom X this evening at 7 p.m. in Dunleavy 127.  Directed by Spike Lee, it tells the story of Malcolm X, an African-American civil rights leader assassinated in 1965. This biographical drama follows Malcolm X’s life from his childhood to life in prison and the shift in his ideology from Nation of Islam to orthodox Islam.  Join us for the film as well as a student-led discussion afterwards.  For more information, contact Amelia Gallagher at ameliag@niagara.edu.
