The Race and Economic Equity Series
The Rose Bente Lee Ostapenko Center and the Niagara University College of Business Administration present The Race and Economic Equity Series. Join us February-April 2019 for an exciting series that will examine the relationship between race and economic security. Participants will have an opportunity to join us for live webinars and for an on-campus summit. Register for as many events as you are able to attend.
The Race and Economic Equity Summit will be held on March 5, 2019 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Russell J. Salvatore Dining Commons. The summit consists of two panels, each tackling key issues surrounding racial equity. Each panel includes one keynote presentation from an expert on the topic, comments from three respondents, and audience table talk and report backs. This is an interactive and action planning summit. A hot lunch, a coffee break, and a closing reception will be provided.
Webinar 2 will be held on April 18, 2019 at 2:00 pm EST. Daniel Schneider, Ph.D. will be discussing how to create measurable outcomes and understand what will be measured to evaluate the progress of institutional change.
All these events are free to the public, students and faculty. Don’t miss out on this program; this is a great opportunity for everyone at NU!
