Tomorrow is Feel Good Friday: Here’s What’s Happening
Our final weekday for “Spring into Service” is Feel Good Friday! Activities of the day support your mental health and the mental health of others, including:
Sunny Spot Walk: Walk around campus and enjoy various “Sunny Spots” that NU students chose as their favorite sunny spots on campus. Click on the “Sunny Spot” on the map for a self-care tips.
Time: Anytime sunny time works!
Location: Check out our SUNNY SPOT map for locations!
Stop by the Gallagher Center for a T-shirt Handout and Sunny Spot Selfie between 12 PM and 2 PM!
IMPACT Connect 5: Did you know that people who feel connected to others have lower rates of anxiety and depression? Take some time today to connect with friends, family, neighbors, and others to help boost their (and your) mental health! Use #IMPACTConnect5 and report that you participated here!
Don’t forget – if you are participating in an act of service during National Volunteer Week share your service using #NUSpringIntoService on social media or visiting http://levesqueinstitute.niagara.edu/impact/service-week-2021/ to report what you did. More information about the week’s events can also be found on the website.
Activities of the week are made possible through a partnership between IMPACT, the Levesque Institute, Campus Ministry, NUSGA, the Brennan Center, and Active Minds. A special thank you to Campus Activities for incorporating service opportunities into RidgeFest events
