Training for Baseline (by Campus Labs): Aug. 12 and Aug. 21

In Announcements, by , on August 11th, 2014

If you are collecting data in your area relating to satisfaction, learning outcomes, usage, program planning, etc., then you are invited to attend a training session for our new assessment  data collection system, Baseline (by Campus Labs).  In order to streamline operations and optimize our use of data on campus, we are centralizing many of our data collection efforts into one system.  Baseline provides a web-based platform for collecting survey, rubric, and quick response data that can be used to inform decision-making and program improvement.  In addition to the data collection technology, Baseline also provides instructional resources, access to an instrument library with examples from other institutions, and consultation services for assessment efforts.

The training schedule is listed below.  If you are interested in attending one of these sessions, please RSVP to Claudia Fleckenstein at cgf@niagara.edu.

Tuesday, Aug. 12, from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Thursday, Aug. 21, from 12 – 2 p.m.

Baseline is part of a suite of Campus Labs products that Niagara will be implementing over the next two to three years to support our student success and institutional effectiveness efforts.  Other platforms include Beacon (early alert and student retention), Planning (annual reports and strategic plan tracking), and CollegiateLink (student involvement and student organization management).  If you have any questions about Baseline, please email Dr. Vennessa Walker, director of institutional research, at vwalker@niagara.edu.
