Tree Maintenance on Campus
On Monday, October 9 and Tuesday, October 10, tree maintenance will be taking place on campus. To promote and maintain healthy growth on campus, crews will be doing some pruning and basic tree care as well as removing dead and diseased trees. It is this sustainable management of our tree population that allows our campus to remain beautiful. Because crews will be using lifts to reach higher trees for trimming and there will be noise from chainsaws and other machinery, this work has been scheduled for days when classes are not in session.
Work could take place anytime during daylight hours on those days. Some work may also take place on Wednesday, October 11 but it will be away from buildings and should not disrupt classes or office business. Please contact Facility Services at ext. 8430 with any questions.
