Twenty Inducted Into Beta Alpha Psi Honor Society

Twenty students were inducted into Niagara University’s Lambda Chi chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the international honor society and service organization for accounting, finance, and information systems students, on April 21, 2015, at the Conference Center Niagara Falls.

Founded in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi provides opportunities for the development of technical and professional skills to complement university education, participation in community services and interaction among students, faculty, and professionals. The letters Beta, Alpha and Psi denote scholarship, social responsibility and practicality. Eligibility is based on academics as well as fulfilling the required number of hours of technical requirements and baseline activities. There are more than 300 chapters on college and university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since Beta Alpha Psi’s formation.
