An information session for NU’s Legacy of War trip to Vietnam (May 17 – June 5, 2015) will be held today, Oct. 2, from 3 to 4 p.m. in St. Vincent’s Hall, Room 306. Developed by Dr. Joseph Little, the Legacy of War trip is a 20-day backpacking survey of the country’s most pressing legacy issues: (1) the unexploded ordnance that litters the Vietnamese countryside, maiming or killing hundreds of Vietnamese people each year; and (2) the debilitating effects of Agent Orange on generation after generation of Vietnamese children. This trip is open to all adults in the Western New York area regarding of affiliation with NU, though NU students, faculty, and staff will receive priority in the application process. If you are unable to attend the information session, please contact Dr. Little at jlittle@niagara.edu for more information.
