Volunteers needed for a FUN night with our students’ families

In Announcements, by , on September 25th, 2013

Campus activities is looking for university employee volunteers to spend an hour interacting and dealing blackjack at Family Weekend Casino Night,

Saturday, Sept., 28 between 6 and 8 p.m.

Annually, one of the most popular activities attended by families, Casino Night consists of families playing blackjack and a variety of other games with play money, which is converted to raffle tickets at the end of play.  The families then participate in a basket auction with the raffle tickets they have won.  Gaming lasts two hours, and we are asking for 26 volunteers to take a one-hour shift dealing.  Unlike real casinos, our goal is to have the house lose money.

To sign up by Wednesday, Sept., 25, or for more information, please contact Mary Matiash in campus activities at ext. 8510.
