Volunteers needed for Poverty Simulation 9/26/22
During last year’s annual poverty simulation, we received emails from NU staff about being able to participate in the simulation. We weren’t able to make that happen for last year’s simulation, but we could incorporate NU staff into this year’s simulation.
The simulation needs two groups to be able to work: Group A are placed into the roles of various service providers–we need about 18 people. Group B are people who are placed into the roles of families who are experiencing poverty.
We can use NU staff to cover some (or all) of the service roles (Group A) if there is interest. If you are interested please contact Eileen Klein (Our admin asst.) at eklein@niagara.edu.
The simulation takes about 2 hours from start to finish and will be held on the first Monday of Vincentian Heritage Week in the Gallagher Multipurpose room from 1pm-3pm.
