Walk to Whirlpool 2019 – Your Department Should Be There!

In Niagara News, by , on August 8th, 2019

As part of New Student Orientation on Friday, August 23rd the 9th annual Walk to Whirlpool State Park will occur. Nearly 850 new students and upperclassmen leaders will walk from campus along the Niagara Scenic Parkway pedestrian walkway to Whirlpool State Park where the new students will meet with their NUB Peer Mentors and enjoy a BBQ dinner.

While walking along the pathway the students are greeted by various university departments. Any university department is invited to setup a “WELCOME STATION” . This is an opportunity for departments to welcome new students and promote your department. If you/your department is interested in getting more information on setting up a Welcome Station please contact Bill Newton, Assistant Director of Campus Activities at wjn@niagara.edu or by calling (716) 286-8510.
