What is the value of trash?
Tonight in Dunleavy 127 at 5 p.m., the Latin American Studies Program will show “Cartoneros,” a documentary that follows the paper recycling process in Buenos Aires. The film is both a record of an economic and social crisis and an invitation to audiences to rethink the value of trash.
A brief discussion with visiting Fulbright Scholar Florencia Yuvero from Argentina and Dr. Mayorga will follow.
