“Who is Dayani Cristal?” – Thursday, Oct. 1

The Department of Modern & Classical Languages and the Latin American Studies Program will co-sponsor a viewing of the film “Who is Dayani Cristal?” on Thursday, Oct. 1, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. in Depaul 126. The following is a description of the film from IMDB: “An anonymous body in the Arizona desert sparks the beginning of a real-life human drama. The search for identity leads us back across a continent to seek out the people left behind and the meaning of a mysterious tattoo” (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1847750/ ). This film shows a more human side to the immigration debate. The 1 hour 25 minute film will be immediately followed by a discussion led by Dr. Mayorga and Dr. McCutcheon
