Wreaths Across America

Members of the Niagara University Community are invited to join with five other chapters nationwide.

Members of the Niagara University Alumni Association and the WNY Alumni Chapter will remember and honor veterans and active military by participating in Wreaths Across America on Dec. 14, 2013.

We are looking for a local alumnus to help organize the volunteers this day.

Where: Oakwood Cemetery, 763 Portage Road, Niagara Falls, NY 14301

When: Saturday, Dec. 14, at noon

Wreath sponsors needed: If you would like to honor a veteran by purchasing a wreath to be laid at Oakwood, please visit http://www.waastore.com/ by Dec. 2. Please designate the Oakwood Cemetery.

The mission of Wreaths Across America — Remember, Honor, Teach — is carried out, in part, by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.
