Careers in Aging: Events Thursday, April 9
Careers in Aging Week is an annual event intended to bring greater awareness and visibility to the wide-ranging career opportunities in aging and aging research. Universities and colleges around the world participate by sponsoring events at their schools or in their communities.
Careers in Aging Week is being celebrated at Niagara University April 6-10. Stop by the information table in the lower lever Gallagher Center, from 1-3 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, for information about careers in aging or to talk to gerontology students about courses and programs.
At 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, in DePaul 126, there will be a showing of Driving Miss Daisy (winner of the Academy Award for Best Picture). The event is free and refreshments will be provided.
