Castellani Monthly Art Express Children’s Workshop Free for NU Community on Saturday, June 24
This month’s Art Express theme is Pots and Shapes, which will take place on Saturday, June 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Castellani Art Museum (CAM). Participants ages 6 to 12 will use self-hardening clay to make pots and ceramic pieces inspired by our Shaping Nature Exhibition by Junko McGee.
Art Express allows children to partake in fun-filled hands-on art making activities and gallery exploration. Each workshop includes a short talk about child-friendly museum artworks and a guided story time. A teaching artist works closely with participants to foster the creation of customized take-home artwork.
Cost: $10. Free for CAM Members, EBT card holders, children of NU faculty, students, and staff.
