Celebrate National Women’s History Month on the Niagara University campus
Celebrate National Women’s History Month on the Niagara University campus. TheĀ first event is the Susan B. Anthony Writing Contest Award Ceremony on Wednesday, Feb. 11, from 6-7:30 p.m. at VIN 301. Then, after March break, our other activities include a presentation by an art historian at the Castellani Art Museum on women in art, a book discussion of Half the Sky, a panel presentation on Gamergate: Gender and Video Games, and our keynote speaker will be Imam Daayiee Abdullah, who will speak on Gender and Islam. Abdullah’s presentation is sponsored by communication xtudies, College of Arts and Sciences, modern languages, history, Office of International Relations, english, NUSGA, and MISA.
