IRS Agent Addresses Beta Alpha Psi Members At Fall IMA Dinner
Accounting and finance students enjoyed a fascinating presentation last week at the fall semester dinner for the Niagara chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) on campus in Bisgrove Hall. Angela Klimczak, a special agent with the IRS Criminal Investigation Unit, was the guest speaker at this event, which was co-sponsored by Beta Alpha Psi, the international honor organization for financial information students and professionals. There was a great turnout for the dinner and lecture with over 50 students, faculty and IMA members attending.
The IMA’s mission is to provide a forum for research, practice development, education, knowledge sharing, and the advocacy of the highest ethical and best business practices in management accounting and finance. It represents more than 70,000 accountants and financial professionals in business.
