Mutual Aid Disaster Training — Hosted by the NU College of Nursing and the Vincentian Center for Justice
Are you prepared to respond when the people around you need your help? Actualizing a community of organizers and movement builders means providing the knowledge, tools, and connections to support each other. Every day. Including when crises and disasters occur.
This training is intended to provide you with basic life support skills – the ability to help people in greatest need. It is also designed to educate on how to build a mutual aid support network for your community – for Niagara University and for the broader community!
You will learn Stop the Bleed, Hands Only CPR, and how mutual aid can be applied to disaster relief.
The event is Wednesday, April 19, from 1-4 p.m. in Bailo Hall Room 201. Training will be conducted by the Niagara County Department of Health and the Clean Air Coalition of WNY.
Registration is required — please use the QR code on the flyer or email justicehouses@niagara.edu to sign up!
