Niagara University Professor and PhD Alumni to Conduct Book Signing on Saturday, April 21, 2018 to Celebrate the Publication of New Book about Contemporary Leadership.
Dr. Walter S. Polka, Niagara University Professor in the College of Education, Professional Studies Department, and eight of his former Niagara University PhD Candidates have recently had their new book published by Linus Publications. The book is titled: Very Good to Despicable: The Impact of the Seven Deadly Sins on Contemporary Leaders. All of the profits from the sales of this book, $6.00 for every $20.00 cost of the book, will be forwarded to the Niagara University PhD Research Foundation to support future research studies in leadership and policy. In addition to Dr. Polka, who served as editor and wrote some of the chapters, the following former Niagara University PhD students contributed to the book chapters: Dr. Rosina Mete, Mrs. Amylynn Benjamin, Dr. Ruth Anne Buzzard, Dr. William Campbell, Dr. Marilyn Chaprman-Allison, Dr. Renee Collins, Dr. Jamie K. Dortch-Lanier, and Dr. Amanda Fernandes.
There will be book signing event including a special Western New York Buffet at the Como Restaurant on Pine Avenue in Niagara Falls, NY on Saturday, April 21st from 4:30pm to 7:00pm to celebrate this publication. Please consider joining us for this festive event and enjoy some interactions with these Niagara University authors and graduates of the Niagara University PhD Program in Leadership and Policy. Books may be purchased at the book signing for $20.00 each with $6.00 going into the PhD Research Foundation. Authors will be available for signatures.
Also attached to this announcement is a copy of the Acknowledgements page from the book that identifies the various contributors to this publication and reaffirms that all of the profits from the sales of this book are dedicated to the Niagara University PhD Research Foundation to advance future research studies in leadership and policy.
