Toshiba Business Solutions Update
Niagara University continues to upgrade print/copy services on campus to Toshiba Business Solutions. As we work through this transition, please be aware of the following items:

Niagara University Print Support 

Located on myNU is the Printing and Print Project resource page. This page provides the following:

  • Instructions on installing your printer
  • How to print (video tutorial included.)
  • Printing capabilities of each device
  • Print Project Request Form – Required for large print projects or professional
  • Business card request form
  • Contact information for on an off-campus support or repair

Printer and Copier Training

Toshiba will be continuing one-on-one training. If you or your department an individuated training session, contact Cassie Kubiak via ckubiak@niagara.edu

How to Print 

There is signage above each printer indicating the printer’s capabilities, as well as a one-sheet login guide, and contact info for troubleshooting.

  • From your personal or university device save your document and click “print.”
  • When selecting a printer choose “Hold-Queue” to send your print job to the NU server.
  • At any printer, click “print release” and use your 7-digit student or employee number (located on your university ID card) to access your print job.

Toshiba Copy Center 

The Toshiba Copy Center is located in DePaul room 15.  day-to-day supplies/needs/office operations with regard to printing and postage:

  • Copy paper – At this time we have a few reems of paper still in stock. Contact Patricia Nashwinter, pnashwinter@niagara.edu.
  • To order copy paper for the first time, contact Bob Macdonald from Eaton at email address:  bmacdonald@eatonofficesupply.com. Mr. Macdonald will get your department set up. Please provide him the following information.

Name of Department

Ship To Location of Department (Building, Room #)

Code # to be invoiced (the 11 1 XXXXX 62340 number)

contact person name/email address/phone number

He will just need to know how many cases of white 8×11 copy paper item SPZEC851192 (10 reams per case) @ $27.99/case that the department wishes to order

After the initial order, all future orders for the new department code can be done online.

Laura Jones (Dept Manager Customer Service) ljones@eatonofficesupply.com is our Eaton back up contact when Bob is on vacation (Aug 9&10, Aug 27 – Sept 3)

  • Toner – When toner is low, the printer kiosk will automatically contact the Toshiba Copy Center.
  • Postage – If mailings of less than 100 pieces are required for your department, please purchase stamps through the Post Office.  These can be obtained by submitting a requisition through WebAdvisor, using vendor “NU POSTMASTER, Vendor #101.”  Once approved, Patricia Nashwinter in Purchasing will purchase the postage on your behalf and email you to pick-up your paid order at the Post Office. 
    • $20 stamps (one sheet) is $11.00
    • $1 roll (100 stamps) is $55.00
    • If bulk mailing is already sealed, the NU post office can process your order. Post Office Ext. 8070
    • If bulk mailing is not sealed contact Sue Karaszewski.
  • Post Office Box  – For questions regarding services/post office boxes, including questions from students, please contact Courtney.L.Heigl@usps.gov.
  • Interoffice Mail/Communications – For all interoffice mail, please hand deliver personally, or utilize email and/or the scanning capabilities of the Multi- Functional Device (MFD) in your area.
