The Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies Minor Program will hold a film series this year. All students, faculty and all members of the university community are invited to join us on Tuesday evenings at 7 p.m. in Dunleavy 127. (See attached calendar for dates and film descriptions). From documentaries to features — a variety of films have been selected that give fascinating insight into various facets of Middle Eastern culture, religion, history, politics and art. We plan to give a few words of explanation to introduce the films and hold discussions afterwards. We welcome integration of the films into any course curriculum, and the theater can hold a large audience.
