The Sustainability Committee Wants YOU

In Announcements, by , on October 9th, 2014

At NU, everyone is responsible for green, sustainable, and forward-thinking use of resources.  In that spirit, the membership of the Sustainability Committee (SusCom) is now open to all faculty and staff, so please join us for our first meeting of this semester on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 1:25 p.m. at CASTL in St. Vincent’s Hall, Room 107.  This year’s SusCom initiatives will include the President’s Commitment on Climate Change, a look at the university’s procurement practices, and developing an environmental management plan for each building on campus (we might do some fun stuff, too).

Whether you can attend one meeting, or go to all, your input and participation is most welcome.  The SusCom’s other meetings: Oct. 29, Nov. 5, Nov. 19, Dec. 3, and Dec. 17.  Can’t make the meetings and have something to say?  Please contact the SusCom chairs, Dan McMann and Dr. Mark Gallo, “Communication Guru” Danyelle Moore, or cabinet liaison Stephanie Adams with any questions or input.
